Ronan

I have been involved in the fitness industry for the past 30 years starting my career with a B.Sc (Hons) in Coaching Science from the John Moore’s University in Liverpool.

Following on from that I joined the Crunch Fitness Chain in University College Dublin as a Fitness Instructor and from there branching out on my own as a Personal Trainer, Gaelic Football Coach and Physical Therapist. I opened my first gym, Fitness Solutions in John Street, Ardee in November 2000.

I have been based in Scout’s Hall in Irish Street, since September 2014 and have grown the business from a one floor Pilates and Spin studio to a now three floor fitness facility that includes a Commercial Gym, Outdoor Studio, Recovery Room, Spin Studio, Reformer Pilates studio and Sports Injuries Clinic.

Here at RMG Fitness we like to think we offer something for everyone. Whether you are a regular gym goer or a novice trainer we’re here to meet your needs with our excellent range of fitness classes and personal training packages.

I love the business I’m in and I look forward to the next 30 years where I guarantee there will be more improvements and upgrades in our constantly evolving gym and classes studio.

Going to classes and working out has always been part of my life so when I got the opportunity to pursue a course in Advanced Pilates in 2019 I grabbed it with both hands and haven't looked back since. 

Shortly after completing this course I went another step further and became a fully qualified PT Instructor with the N.T.C in Dublin.

Furthering my learning I completed a course in Pre and Postnatal instruction.

I also completed a Reformer 1, 2 & 3 and we opened our Reformer studio in January 2023.

I give classes on a daily basis at The Reformer Room and at 
RMG as well as working with a growing portfolio of PT clients. Classes include Reformer Pilates, strength & conditioning, and our cardio based class Blackout.

I'm fiercely passionate about fitness and health and I love to see my clients making progress with new fitness goals.
